HFRR Standard Specimen Pack - Set of Lower and Higher Specimens for High-Frequency Reciprocating Rig (HFRR) analysis, supplied as 100 upper specimens (6mm balls) and 100 lower specimens (10mm discs). The HFRR upper and lower specimens can be used with HFRR methods ISO 1256-1, D6079, IP 450, CEC-F-06-A.
These High Frequency Reciprocating Rig (HFRR) upper and lower specimens are for analytical testing in the analytical and petrochemical industry. HFRR upper and lower specimens can be used with HFRR methods ISO 1256-1, D6079, IP450, CEC-F-06-A.. All specimen products are manufactured in state of the art factories, and separately analysed by an independent certified laboratory before product release. The specimens are also tested on roughness and hardness. A test certificate will be provided with each box of upper and lower specimens.
HFRR Lower Specimen
Our HFRR lower specimens, need to be placed and fixed in the lower specimen holder. The lower specimens will be immersed within the fluid which needs to be tested on lubricity. The lower and upper specimen are used together for the determination of the lubricity of e.g. fuels.
HFRR Upper Specimen
Our high quality HFRR upper specimens, need to be fixed in the upper specimen holder that secures the upper specimens. After the test, the abraded area on the ball needs to be evaluated by an optical microscope. The dimensions are converted into a defined wear scar value by a formula.
