Refractive Index Certified Reference Materials and Standards for Urea Content Measurement (ISO 22241)

ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 Refractive Index Certified Reference Materials (CRM) and Standards intended to be used for verification of measuring equipment, method validation, method verification, or other quality control processes used to determine urea content by refractive index in accordance with ISO 22241.

These Refractive Index Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) for urea analysis provide laboratories with accurate, traceable, and audit-ready calibration solutions for refractive index measurements performed in accordance with ISO 22241. Certified at 20 °C and produced under ISO 17034 accreditation, these CRMs are ideal for AdBlue® / AUS 32 quality control, refractometer calibration, and routine laboratory verification. Our Refactive Index kits have been designed for compliance with ISO 22241 urea content testing by refractive index. 

Weekly checks
ISO 22241 expects ongoing verification of refractometer performance at the working RI value.
RI-UREAKIT010 or RI-UREAKIT020 are suitable.

Periodic checks
Many labs include an additional control point to monitor drift.

Monthly Span calibration / linearity
Required during method validation, scheduled calibration, and monthly compliance with ISO 22241.
